মহারাষ্ট্র স্টেট ইন্টেলিজেন্স ডিপার্টমেন্ট ‘এসআইডি’ এর এক জ্যেষ্ঠ কর্মকর্তা জানান, প্রাথমিক তদন্তের অংশ হিসেবে দেশ-বিদেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে দেওয়া জাকির নায়েকের দেওয়া লেকচারের মধ্যে ইউটিউব থেকে অন্তত ১শ’টি ভিডিও পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা ছাড়াও অন্যান্য তথ্য খতিয়ে দেখা হয়েছে। সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশ ও ভারতে সন্ত্রাসী হামলার ঘটনার পর জাকির নায়েকের বিরুদ্ধে সন্ত্রাসবাদী বক্তব্যের অভিযোগ ওঠে।
